First goodbyes.

Last day at Restaurantosaurus today! I was filling until my break which made the afternoon fly by! We were working as a great team - we had orders on the counter before the guest was ready to take it and were getting them out faster than the cashiers could ring them through. We were the Counter Crew, and we were killing it!

After my break, I sliced tomatoes. A lot of tomatoes. 1500 slices of tomatoes, actually. On the plus side, I had a slicer which did 6-9 slices at a time. But I still sliced between 200 and 250 tomatoes. My arm aches.

After work I went to the Festival of the Lion King, of course. Hudson and Sam came with me, and because Hudson knew someone working at the theater, we got a front row seat! Usually reserved for wheelchairs or special groups, it was the best seat in the house. Show #7 was the best of them all; the front row is fabulous and I got a kiss on the cheek from Timon and a high five from a tumble-monkey and I hand-jived and I sang along and it was absolutely wonderful!

And then I left. I didn't feel the need to visit anything else, and my last hello became my first goodbye.

There were tears in my eyes as I went through the gate. As I took one last look, the reality that I was actually leaving hit me, and I realized how much I was going to miss having Disney in my backyard (a crazy amount, in case that wasn't perfectly clear).

I took the bus to Hollywood studios to meet up with Natalie for Fantasmic. I got some fresh popcorn and wandered the streets just soaking it in. I stopped at the writer's stop and got a carrot-cake-cookie-cream-cheese-sandwich (which was meant to be on last night's list, but I'd forgotten) and it was incredible! Natalie and I went to Toy Story Mania where they found an expired fast pass for her collection and then we made our way to the Fantasmic theater. We got really crappy seats, which cancelled the idea of maybe this being the last Fantasmic show I go to... there's no way I'm letting my last show be that one! We left a little early to catch the bus and got home in time for me to do some laundry (oh, the mundane in the midst of excitement).

I have now procrastinated sleep for far too long and will head to bed... a long day at Epcot tomorrow will be my second last day of work! Absolute insanity. Goodnight all!
