Oops.

I actually just forgot to blog last night. Whoops. Sorry guys. A long, boring day didn't leave me with much to blog about so it completely skipped my mind. But, here's what I did anyway. (And I'm changing the time stamp to last night to be consistent!)

I was up and out of the house by 9am, and didn't get home until 10:30pm. An 11.5hr shift was only bearable because of where I was working - the Cool Post. Both sheltered from the heat (yay, air conditioning!) and from the rain (which we had a massive downpour of all day). It was actually aptly named this time around, as I was shivering, I was so cold. And you know, I think I miss the cold of Canada... but I really don't. It's too hot here much of the time, but I certainly don't miss the cold.

Happy Canada Day, by the way! All of my Canadian friends headed off to the Canada Epcot Pavilion this morning - I saw most of them at the bus stop, dressed in red and white. I didn't celebrate at all. In fact, I even forgot my name tag, so I was "Jessie" from Orlando, FL today. Which meant that no one even commented on where I was from so I could tell them it was Canada Day. Woo. Worst Canada day I've ever spent - working for 11.5 hours in the US. Sigh.

I was working with Brittany again, and while at least she is good at her job, she doesn't say a word without complaining about something. Literally no word came out of her mouth that wasn't a complaint. Over 10 hours, it got very tiring. However, today I was also working with Paul, who came in to be our filler for the afternoon. He's from England and is in his second or third week of work. He's on the same short program as me, and we had fun comparing the similarities between Newcastle and Nova Scotia... both very similar climates and cultures. We chatted away and mostly ignored Brittany's complaining ;)

My bank was off by a penny (SIGH) and I ran to catch the bus. It actually left Brittany behind because it was so full and she was twenty seconds and a few people behind me. I felt bad for her :( When I got home I was able to facetime my family for a brief few minutes after we finally got it to work! Then, I watched 101 Dalmations and am going to bed!

Another longggggg day ahead of me. Night!
